Who we are

Papa Gomes is operated by Gomes Holdings Limited, Shop 1, G/F, Ryan Mansion, 31–37 Mosque Street, Mid-Levels, Hong Kong. For anything in this policy, write to papagomeshk@gmail.com or call 2525 5488.

This policy is written to meet our obligations under the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486).

The papagomes.hk domain is registered to Jatin A Limited. Your data is handled by the restaurant as described here, regardless of who holds the domain.

What this website collects

The forms on this site ask for your name and mobile number — and, for a catering quote, how many people and when. We collect nothing you do not type in.

The site sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers. Fonts and images are served from our own site, so visiting sends no request to any third party. If we later count visits, we will do it with a cookie-free counter that cannot identify you.

Why we use it

To reply to the request you made — a table on the outdoor list, a catering price, or news of seasonal menus. That is the only purpose, unless you separately agree to marketing below.

Where we look at ordering patterns to plan the kitchen, we do it on totals, not on individuals.

Direct marketing, and your right to say no

We will not use your name or number for marketing unless you tick the separate box that asks for it. Ordering food is not consent. Silence is not consent.

You can withdraw at any time, free of charge: reply STOP to any message, tell any member of the family in the restaurant, or write to papagomeshk@gmail.com. We act on it immediately and permanently, and we do not ask why.

Where it is kept, and who sees it

Form submissions are stored in a private spreadsheet run by the family, and a notification goes to the family phone. Access is limited to the family and the person who maintains the system.

We do not sell personal data and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing. If you order through foodpanda or another platform, what they collect is governed by their policy, not this one. If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, Meta processes that message under its own terms.

How long, and your rights

Contact details are kept while you remain on a list you asked to join, and deleted on request. If you opt out we keep a minimal record of that fact so we never contact you again by mistake.

You may ask what we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. Write to papagomeshk@gmail.com; we will respond within 40 days as the Ordinance requires. If we ever cannot do what you ask, we will say why.
